The Craft Begins

I have a sort of love/hate relationship with jellyfish, in that I love them and think they’re fascinating and beautiful to watch but I hate them because I am really allergic and thus terribly afraid of them.  I’ve had my fair share of encounters with the squiggly beasts out there in the wilderness, but I think that I would prefer them in a lovely enclosed container on my desk.

This is a great little one-stop shop for all the shabby chic homewares you’ve been looking for.  I enjoy it because it’s got that fresh from the flea market look, but it’s not terribly feminine.  I could see those Bordeaux bags rockin’ a bachelor pad somewhere.  They’ve also good eco-friendly cleaning supplies and some tasty foodstuffs.  Definitely worth checking out.

This shop is a great place to find the unique, the visionary, and the somewhat expensive.

Above are some of my favorites.  I like the idea of ice cube alphabets, and the see-saw bookcase.  That bear nightlight is delightfully evil.  It’s a great place to have a look around though, even if you don’t have the money to actually buy.  Who knows – maybe it will inspire you to make something new and unique?
